Our Fourth Edition June 2026 class
About the Class
This hands-on beginner training is specially designed for anyone who has always dreamed of bringing their fashion ideas to life but didn’t know where to start. Whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine before or you have basic skills, this program will guide you step-by-step into the world of fashion design.
For 4 Sundays, you’ll learn the core foundations of sewing and garment construction while working on fun, practical projects that you can proudly wear.
What You’ll Learn
Introduction to sewing tools & materials
How to set up and operate a sewing machine
Basic stitching techniques
How to cut simple patterns
Making your first projects (Boubou dress, straight dress/skirt, Maxi skirt, or Flared dress)
Adding finishing touches (hems, pockets & clean edges)
By the end of the training, you’ll have the confidence to start creating your own simple garments and do your alterations from the comfort of your home.
What You’ll Need
Each participant is required to come with a portable tabletop sewing machine.
We’ll recommend affordable options on Amazon (between £50–£80).
